Arsenic and Old Lace
Arsenic and Old Lace follows the eccentric Brewster family: Mortimer, a kind-hearted drama critic in love; his brother, who believes he’s Teddy Roosevelt; his other brother, Jonathan, a criminal with a murderous streak; and his aunts, Abby and Martha, the two most gracious elderly ladies in their neighborhood.
When Mortimer casually proposes to the pastor’s daughter, he unwittingly opens the lid on buried family secrets. As neighbors, strangers, and cops keep calling, the Brewsters will go to hilarious lengths to protect the skeletons in the cellar. Can Mortimer tie everything up neatly before dawn?
